As we ramp up towards GGHK2022, we are now building out our Sports team and looking to recruit volunteer Sports Coordinators for the 36 sports. These roles will be key in the planning and execution of the respective sporting events, and liaising closely with local and international sports associations.

Essential Functions

• Overseeing the planning and execution of the sporting event from now to 2022
• Liaison with local sports association and international ones
• Working closely with the sports committee to update the progress of the planning
• Recruiting and developing a team in support of your sports event if needed

Competencies

Experience in organising/participating in the chosen sporting event:

• Strong organisational skills and communication skills, English is a must, Cantonese is helpful.
• Knowledge of rules and venue requirement in the chosen sport
• Experience of working with LCSD planning and venue management resources.
• Individuals with multiple sports experience will be considered to join the sports committee.
