Personal swimming equipment:
Swim cap, goggles, swimwear
The following events will be organized:
Individual Events
• Freestyle: 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500 m
• Backstroke: 50, 100, 200 m
• Breaststroke: 50, 100, 200 m
• Butterfly: 50, 100, 200 m
• Individual medley: 100*, 200, 400 m (*only if run as short course meet).
Relay Events*
• Freestyle relay: 200, 400, 800 m
• Medley relay: 200, 400 m
*All relays will be for men, women, mixed (2 men, 2 women) divisions.

All swimmers must hold a current license of their National Swimming Federation
If you are not a member of a FINA affiliated organization, Gay Games 11 Hong Kong 2022 will provide you with ability to obtain a “special event” or “one time” license for liability and insurance purposes. See IGLA Rule IDI 1.2 (Registration of Swimmers) for further detail.
